Redflower paced back and forth in the nursery nervously. What if I die in labor? she thought to herself. :( Her mind whirled thinking about becoming a mother. What if the kits died? What if.. kept playing back again and again in her head. Redflower had been pregnant now for 9 moons. Crystalclan was never as good clan for her, she had been lied to asa kit and apprentice about who her mother had been. Redflower finally flopped on her side.

Redflower looked up at her eyes filled with sadness. "I never knew my father, and neither are these kits." she meowed depressingly. "I guess the worst thing in life is to never truly have someone to love." she added.
Redflower sat up staring at the ceiling of the nursery, thinking about her future.
